East Atlanta in Fulton County (30316)
East Atlanta, east of I-20, is the metro area's latest example of an older and somewhat rundown neighborhood reinventing itself as a trendy destination. A mostly younger crowd of residents and developers are giving rise to shops, bars, restaurants and such developments as The Preserve East Atlanta and Glenwood Park. They have changed the face of this still transitional area. The Edgewood retail district, slightly to the west, has greatly enhanced shopping and dining opportunities.
