Mableton in Cobb County (30126)
In 1843, Robert Mable built the plantation house that today is a focal point of this community. Mableton was one of Cobb County's first areas of development. That helps explain why commercial buildings appear older here: They often are. There are still plenty of new homes to look at, though. Mableton is one of the lucky towns to benefit from the popular Silver Comet Trail, loved by walkers, joggers and cyclists alike. The Veterans Memorial Highway area is also experiencing new development.
