Acworth in Cobb County (30101)
Acworth enjoys its reputation as The Lake City, earned after 1950 when Lake Allatoona and Lake Acworth were built. Its scenic downtown and neighborhoods continue to prosper, thanks to the city's accessibility off I-75. New annexed subdivisions, as well as historic homes, continue to attract newcomers to Acworth, about 35 miles northwest of Atlanta.
